I HATE IT when people email me and “just want to watch me work.” I am not a fucking clown here for your amusement and I do not go out for anyone but myself, and I hate it when people expect this of me. On one side celebrity–even small celebrity–robs you of so much of your self, all while pumping you up in other areas. It is fucking weird. Celebrity is like death: you cannot understand it until you get there, and once there, you cannot explain it to those who have never been. He is starting to understand that.
